Mike’s Bike Park: Will host Mario Kart Live

DAYTON (OH) — Connect Esports has partnered with Mike’s Bike Park in order to bring Mario Kart Live to life.

The organizers claim that this AR game will be available to play in celebration of Mike’s Bike Park’s opening on Tuesday, June 8th from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. It will be a double elimination tournament for 16 people.

“We’re thrilled to bring this event to expand our services for live events for local businesses. We are always on the lookout for new experiences in video games and they are continually evolving. Mary Baldino, owner of Connect ESports said that if you are a Mario Kart enthusiast, this AR experience will be a delight.

What to Expect?

Ask a question! It can be very enjoyable to ride indoors. However, it is a good idea not to hesitate to ask questions about the park, the location of rides, and the rules for riding at Mike’s Indoor Bike Park.

Helmets must be worn. Helmets are required. We have helmets available to rent for $5 or you can buy your helmet at our bike shop.

Your bike is your responsibility. You can rent a bike from the rental shop, but there are limited options, such as Dirt Jumpers and BMX, Mountain Bikes and Balance Bikes. It is best to call ahead to reserve a bike. Your bike is the best bike to learn how to ride.

Younger/Inexperienced Riders. You should always keep an eye on your child or younger rider if you’re new to this style of riding.

Participants aged 12 and younger must be accompanied at all times by a guardian of at least 18 years.

Mike’s Indoor Bike Park is a bit chilly in winter, but warm in summer. You should always wear the appropriate clothing for riding.

Is it allowed to use skateboards or scooters at the park?

  • Mike’s Bike Park allows scooters and skateboards, but be aware of the more rapid bike traffic.
  • You can bring money to buy extras. Bring money to buy food, vending machines and other items.

Do we do Mike’s Bike Park birthday parties?

Mike’s Bike Park is open to hosting a birthday party, but we don’t offer anything formal for them. We allow food and cake, and recommend that everyone sign the waiver prior to arriving.
